➺ Payment:• Payment via Paypal or Wise• Payment methods: 100% upfront payment or 50% upfront and 50% after finished work• Final prices include fees: Every payment method takes a fee from me, I consider it fair to divide this amount in half between me and the commissioner. This is usually 3% to 5% of the final price, but consider that on the 50/50 payment method I'll need to add the fees to both prices, hope you understand!• On refunds: You can cancel your commission only after the first sketch and will receive a 50% refund if your payment method was via Wise, if it was via Paypal there's only a 30% refund
(Why that? Because Paypal decided that payments will cash in my account with the currency already converted, so you pay in USD and I receive it in BRL, so I just can't refund it on 50% because I'll be having to pay you 5 times what you paid me for your canceled commission).
You can't get refunds after the sketch was agreed upon.➺ Revisions:• You'll have two revisions: The major one on sketch phase so we can sort out the poses.
After the sketch is agreed upon you'll have another revision on the flat colors. I always send wips throughout the process! Any other big revisions after the sketch is agreed upon will be charged based on my working hours.• Detailed descriptions and references for your character are greatly appreciated, prices may vary based on that, as already stated on my prices*please do not conceal large details or descriptions in the closing budget process hoping for a smaller budget on your commission, any misinformation on the descriptions will be charged➺ Delivery:• The standard aspect ratio I work with is 4:5 6K w/ 300+ppi. Translating for non art-nerds: "Instagram portrait" aspect ratio with 2765x3456px resolution and printable quality.
If you need other sizes and aspect ratio please inform me.
• The final files are sent via WeTransfer to your email.
• ALL the artworks I post online are Glazed and NightShaded. The customer files you'll download via WeTransfer will be Glazed to a minimum amount. I'll only make an exception for commercial artworks and/or artworks that are exclusively for printing.
• Usually my drawing process takes 10 days to 2 months based on your position on my slots➺ Copyright and Usage:You, the commissioner:
• May use the commissioned artwork as avatar, background or banner on any website and social channels, as well as self print it, as long as they're all for personal use
• May NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing) unless it was commissioned for that purpose.
• Retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).
• May NOT post my art online telling they're yours
• May NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes unless is commissioned for that purpose.
• May NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my consent. You can crop it, resize it, mirror it, but NOT draw over it/erase my signature and post it online. I will gladly send a different version for icon purposes if you want to.I, Shaarpie, the artist:
• Retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.
• Will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.
• Will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.
• Reserve the right to modify your character in the sketch version for future use in case the commission is canceled, for example as a YCH - do not worry, I'll make sure is NOT your OC, I just don't want to have wasted my time on a sketch for a canceled project.
• Reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as in publications such as art books, if you don't want me to post the art online that's absolutely okay, but please make it clear when we start the project. All the commissioned artworks posted online will have a watermark, and I will always credit you as the owner unless stated otherwise, I can credit your name on the watermark too if you want it. So you will be the only one with the original file.
